2016: A Year In Review

2016: A Year In Review

It fills me with so much joy to look back on this incredible year of memories and growth for myself and my business. If 2016 has showed me anything, it’s that being yourself in your work and in your words will connect you with some amazing people that you are truly meant to make art with. And in turn, it will make you feel differently about yourself and what you create.

With every year that passes, I’m always in shock at how much I have grown and changed as a photographer. Last year at this time, I thought I finally had it all figured it out. And the year before that, I thought I knew exactly what I was doing, too. But in the last two days that I have been going through my library, I notice I’m seeing color and light differently than I did just months ago. And the fact I have seen myself grow and change in such a short amount of time has made me realize that there is so much to strive for in 2017.

I can honestly say that I am diving into this new year with a new found confidence and purpose. Half my life has been devoted to getting to where I am right now, and it’s really only just beginning!
