I met Ngozi a little over two years ago when she and I did her high school senior portraits. This girl is so bright and bubbly and so incredibly fun to work with, so I was so excited to hear she would be home for the holidays so we could shoot again! These days, she’s at Harvard University, and runs an inspirational blog about food, faith and fitness.

Leta of Deja Vintage Boutique was kind enough to allow us to use her beautiful, vintage clothing showroom in Edmonds, and even pulled a couple of outfits for us to use. I’m overwhelmed at how bright and amazing this creative space turned out to be, and cannot wait to shoot there more in the coming months.

Oh yeah, and there were some of those big, gigantic golden balloons involved at one point as we worked on a New Years stock project in advanced for 2018. But of course we had to give 2017 some last minute glory as well! Thanks to Red Balloon Company on Capitol Hill for so very conveniently having exactly what we needed. That was a very interesting car ride with 5 massive balloons in the back seat of a Beetle.
