Glass Baby Themed Indoor Wedding at Ballard Bay Club
Kristen and Karl said, “I do,” before the Puget Sound at their wedding at Ballard Bay Club. With its breathtaking views of the waterfront and Olympic Mountains, they chose a venue that was so quintessentially Seattle.
I have known Kristen for so long, I hardly know where we began. She has made so many appearances in my life through different social circles that it would seem the universe was trying to push us together. In the past year or so, I have been so fortunate to get closer to her as a friend – and thank god because I need more ladies in my life! – and join her and Karl on this journey.
We started the day at Hotel Ballard, which just so happens to be my number one recommendation to spend the wedding weekend with your party. The reason for this is that Bastille has private dining areas that can accommodate for a reception dinner, and it’s located just across the street. With the two locations being so close together, it is one of the best wedding reception dinner pairs in Seattle. Especially if you are here for a destination wedding. Starting the day at Hotel Ballard also gave us an opportunity for a more urban first look since the wedding at Ballard Bay Club was on the waterfront.
What a blast it was to document such a fun, not to mention BEAUTIFUL couple all day long. And with fun, beautiful couples generally come bridal parties with huge personalities, making the photo journalistic side of wedding photography endless entertainment. I’m proud to call many of those bridal party members good friends of mine as well, some of whom I’ve even photographed weddings for as well (I’m looking at you, maid of honor Ryan and groomsman Tony!)

We're your true color Seattle wedding photographers! The three of us make timeless photos for people who celebrate that grass is green and the sky is blue.
Our goal is to turn your milestones into masterpieces that show just how vibrant and colorful you, your loved ones, and your surroundings are on your wedding day.
