There's nothing quite like the perfect cloudy waterfront Semiahmoo Resort wedding to bring two big families together for the first time after the pandemic! Jaclyn, Jeremy and their family and friends had the absolute biggest personalities, and it shined brightest on the dance floor.
About Semiahmoo Resort Weddings
Semiahmoo Resort is located almost smack dab on the border of Canada. It's so close, in fact, that you can literally see Canada from the waterfront. Semiahmoo Resort is renowned as a Washington waterfront wedding venue and can accommodate for up to 400 guests (holy cow!). They also cover a ton of the necessities (chairs and tables for 250 of your guests, linens, cutlery, catering on site, etc.) And did I mention there's a spa too? So you can spend the day after your wedding relaxing and rejuvenating.
About Jaclyn and Jeremy
I first met Jaclyn and Jeremy at her little sister's wedding, which took a sharp left turn into a more intimate, summer block party as a result of COVID-19. Jaclyn tells me she spent a while in Italy, and met Jeremy after a series of app dates. If you ever needed any proof that those dating apps can help you find your soulmate, these two are living proof. These two are the perfect goofballs together and an absolute match made in heaven.
If anything, you have to scroll down to the dance party section of this wedding. It was an absolute banger of a party. Jeremy's kids especially have some serious moves. At one point I asked him how they were so good at dancing, and he said, "What else are you supposed to do when you're making pizza on Friday nights?" Okay, not an exact quote, and I probably got the day of the week wrong. But it was something along those lines, and definitely the perfect answer.
