Crystal Mountain Resort Wedding in Washington State

Annie, Kennet, and their guests traveled across the country for their Crystal Mountain Resort wedding in Washington State. This Mount Rainier wedding venue is the ideal PNW wedding experience. Additionally, there is plenty of lodging onsite, so there's no need for guests to drive anywhere at all at the night of your wedding. Best of all, your rental fee includes a gondola ride to the summit where your ceremony takes place.

There are so many places to take wedding photos at throughout Crystal Mountain Resort. We did some portraits at the summit with Annie and Kennet immediately following their ceremony. Be wary of the steep and dusty terrain, however. It was extremely difficult to hike down to the trail in heels. Thankfully, a girl who was visiting the resort offered Annie her blue trail runners (something borrowed and something blue, I might add!) and the three of us made it down the path gracefully. We took photos with the wedding party in the fields just outside the Base Lodge in the evening.

Annie and Kennet's Crystal Mountain Resort wedding was one of the most fun I have ever been to. They brought so much color and energy into their special day through Catholic Indian traditions, amazing (and hilarious) speeches, and a banger of a dance floor like no other I have ever been on. The staff and vendors were all amazing and the plated meals were so tasty. My second shooter Mason and I had such a blast capturing this special day, and I have been really excited to blog about it!

Coincidentally, Crystal Mountain Resort is my home ski hill during the winter. It was crazy to see it with no snow in the summer time, and my breath was taken away by the gondola ride all over again.

Crystal Mountain Wedding Cost

I know what you're thinking: "What does this dreamy PNW escape cost?" Don't worry - I looked it up for you. The rental fee for a Crystal Mountain Wedding ranges from $6,000 to $13,250. It includes a scenic gondola ride, tables, chairs, dishware, linens, and staff for up to 200 guests.

Alternative Mountain Wedding Venues

For a similar, less expensive (albeit less inclusive) mountain wedding venue with a view, look at Ben and Juliana's Artist Point Elopement. This space is located in the Mount Baker Ski Area and also boasts stunning views. It is free to use for intimate weddings, but does not include chairs or staff. Permits are required for larger parties.
