Inn at Langley Wedding | Lauren + Patrick

An Inn at Langley wedding on Whidbey Island is a foodie's dream! Lauren and Patrick had an intimate ceremony, garden party, and sit down dinner with their closest family and friends. It was by far one of the most unique wedding photography experiences of my career. I can only hope I have the opportunity to return here again one day.

From the moment Lauren walked down the aisle, there was hardly a dry eye in the crowd. Between all the tears of joy and laughter, they promised themselves to one another forever before a breathtaking view of the sea.

After the ceremony, we moved to the garden. Guests enjoyed wine, champagne, and beautiful appetizers served on platters. The garden smelled strongly of lavender and the evening sun glowed through the trees. It was absolutely breathtaking.

Once inside, we were welcomed by Chef Matt Costello. Chef Costello has been in the restaurant business since 1989. He has worked closely with Tom Douglas, and was once even named Best Chef in Seattle by Seattle Magazine.

The kitchen is wide open at Inn at Langley so you can witness the chefs making magic straight from your table. So much creativity goes into the dining experience here, and each dish is beautifully presented. As a sometimes food photographer, I was in heaven having the opportunity to photograph each course.

I love that Inn at Langley offers a ceremony area with views of the waterfront, a stunning reception garden, and a premier multi course dining experience. If bouquet tosses and dancing isn't your thing, but you're a huge fan of a quality dining experience, this is the perfect venue for you.
