Kale + Kalin’s Small Backyard Wedding

It was such an honor to be chosen to photograph Kalin and Kale’s small backyard wedding. I have known Kale for so long, I can’t even remember how and when exactly we met. It must have been a decade or so ago? Either way. All I know is whenever he and our friend Tony got together, it always meant trouble in the most awesome, comedic way possible.

As for Kalin, I only met her about two years ago, and I was instantly drawn to her. She had lived so much life and had so much wisdom to share. The first time we had ever crossed paths was at a cozy cabin in the woods at our friend Ryan’s bachelorette party.

And who was Ryan about to marry one month later? Tony.
And who was attending their wedding? None other than Kale.

I’m sure you can imagine what happened that night. After much joking on Kalin’s mother’s behalf about meeting “the one” at a wedding, it finally happened. So it was only fitting that Tony and Ryan became ordained ministers and officiated this sweet, intimate backyard wedding in the very home Kalin spent her childhood.
