Mahlia + Anthony | Volunteer Park Conservatory Engagement
The rain has not given us a break in weeks! Mahlia and Anthony had their hearts set on a Volunteer Park Conservatory engagement shoot to beat the weather. Stick season in Seattle may bring some pretty icky, cold and rainy weather.. But a greenhouse photo session is a surefire way to make sure you stay warm and dry for your closeup. And I mean really warm and dry – it’s toasty in there! I learned the hard way not to wear a jacket inside unless you want the full sauna experience. Needless to say, I was so excited when these two wanted theirs in a heated, glass house of awesome plants.
Mahlia loves plants just about as much as I do (possibly even more), so it was a lot of fun watching her get all excited about everything inside the conservatory. She and Anthony are such a comedy team and had me laughing so much throughout the shoot. They are both total goofballs and I could not be more excited to photograph their wedding this summer.

We're your true color Seattle wedding photographers! The three of us make timeless photos for people who celebrate that grass is green and the sky is blue.
Our goal is to turn your milestones into masterpieces that show just how vibrant and colorful you, your loved ones, and your surroundings are on your wedding day.
