Pricing + FAQ
Coverage starts at $3,500. However, most couples spend $4,000 and up for full wedding day coverage.
Whether you're commemorating your engagement, or just looking for something to put in a picture frame.
• What wedding coverage options do you offer?
My three main packages include 6, 8, and all day coverage. Additionally, I offer custom hourly packages for elopements Mon-Fri year round and 7 days a week from November through February (minimum of 3 hours coverage to qualify). For a more robust explanation of each, don't hesitate to get in touch!
• What do we get?
Each wedding photography or engagement package comes with high resolution, edited photos and is delivered via an online gallery. You may download, order prints, and start favorites lists straight from your gallery. And yes, you can share on social media to your heart's content! You can expect your gallery to be available for up to one year, and I keep your edited files backed up on multiple hard drives even after that in case anything happens.
• When will we get our photos?
Wedding and elopement photos usually take 3-4 weeks to cull, edit and deliver. Engagements take about 1-2 weeks.
• How many photos can we expect?
Every wedding is different, and this number depends on many factors. As a ballpark figure, most clients receive approximately 700 photos with 8 hours of coverage and one photographer. If you would like to see an example of a final product based on a coverage option of your choice, I am more than happy to share full client galleries over coffee/a brew, or via email if you don't have time to meet!
• Do you use a second photographer?
A second photographer is optional a la carte. The one I most commonly work wit happens is my long time best friend, Melanie. She has years of experience in photography and specializes in capturing guest candids and all the in between moments going on that you may not otherwise witness or remember. You can read all about her, as well as our cute "love story" of how we met in photo club, in the about section (under info).
• Do we need a second photographer?
Your wedding day is going to fly by, and there will be so much you don’t see. My partner in crime will make sure you can live all the moments you missed.
Think of it like a Time-Turner from Harry Potter - it enables us to be in two places at once. A second photographer’s job is to capture the powerful in between moments as they unfold during the big ones. While I’m photographing you exchanging vows, she’s catching the smiles and tears of your family and friends.
If you’re having a large wedding (100+ guests) and value copious amounts of guest photos, this is definitely an addon you’ll want to consider. But if you have a smaller wedding with fewer guests or prefer the focus to be mostly on you, it is unlikely a second photographer will be necessary.
• Do we need an engagement shoot?
Some clients opt for an engagement session to fulfill a specific purpose, e.g. Save The Date cards, as a display at your wedding reception, or to incorporate into their wedding website.
Others simply want to document this major milestone in their lives. Your engagement is a very sweet time in your relationship, and capturing that connection is a lovely way to commemorate it. Not to mention it’s always nice to have professional photos of yourselves in normal clothes. Maybe you bring your dog along, too! (Please please please bring your dog!)
Most importantly, this is your golden opportunity to get ultra acquainted with your wedding photographer and being in front of the camera. Establishing a relationship with us prior to your wedding can be immeasurably important to your comfort and confidence while being photographed on your big day.
• We *think* we want to work with you, but need more info.. Now what?
Get in touch! Tell me about your wedding day vision, something nerdy about yourselves, and if this FAQ page left any questions unanswered, don't hesitate to ask them too. I'll send over a full pricing and feature guide with a more robust explanation of all the packages, a la carte items, etc.
If you think you want to get acquainted and see some full wedding galleries before making a decision, that's fine by me too. We can schedule a phone call, Skype or Google Hangout. I would love to get to know you, hear all about how you both met, and share some examples of what you can expect your final product to look like!
