Sleeping Lady Resort Wedding in Fall

Kristin and James had the cutest Sleeping Lady Resort Wedding in Fall. I have photographed weddings at Sleeping Lady Resort every summer for as long as I can remember, but it's really something special in autumn. Most people think of Leavenworth as a Christmas getaway, but its Bavarian charm makes for an idyllic location to celebrate the fall.

One of the most enchanting features of a fall wedding at Sleeping Lady Resort is the stunning backdrop of nature's own decor. The resort is surrounded by lush forests and majestic mountains, and during the autumn months, the foliage comes alive in a palette of warm hues. Post-Wedding Photos in Leavenworth

After their ceremony, we went into Leavenworth to take some more wedding photos. It's about a ten minute drive into town, and the autumnal Bavarian backdrop looked so gorgeous.

We started on the bridge that leads from Post Hotel to Blackbird Island. This is also a great way to get some more golden fall colors in your photos since Sleeping Lady Resort is mostly evergreen trees.

Afterwards, we walked back up into the town and grabbed a hot dog at München Haus for some photos. It wouldn't be a Leavenworth wedding adventure if there wasn't some sort of Bavarian prop involved!
