One of my favorite spots at The Lodge is the naturally lit hallway. It has stunning white arches and captivating artwork. Regardless of the weather, it guarantees stunning wedding photos that leave you in awe.
Ceremony Venues
The Lodge offers three different spaces for wedding ceremonies. Couples can choose The Great Lawn with the historic hotel backdrop. On rainy days, the Remington Ballroom offers shelter. Personally, my favorite is The Grotto, as Mattina and Michael chose. It features lush greenery, offers a stunning backdrop, ample natural light on sunny days, and acts as a natural umbrella when it rains.
Price
Pricing for weddings at The Lodge varies depending on how many guests you will have and on what day of the week. According to a write up on Here Comes The Guide, couples considering The Lodge can anticipate a rental cost ranging from $1,000 to $5,000 for the entire venue. The rental cost includes the ceremony fee. However, selecting The Grotto incurs an additional $1,100 fee. Couples seeking only a ceremony and photos at The Lodge can choose smaller packages, bypassing the reception.
What your photographer/videographer needs to shoot at The Lodge
Photographers and videographers must furnish a certificate of liability insurance to shoot at The Lodge. As the venue is situated within a State Park, if your photo or video team plans to operate a drone, you'll need to complete additional paperwork and acquire the necessary insurance. Fortunately, obtaining drone insurance for the day through AirModo is a straightforward and cost-effective option.
